Cooking
Welcome to the Domestic Daemon’s kitchen, where good intentions occasionally produce excellent dinners, and occasionally require a takeaway.
This is where I share the stories behind the cooking: family traditions, culinary misunderstandings, kitchen experiments and the occasional spectacular failure. Some involve recipes handed down through generations. Others begin with the immortal words, “How difficult can it be?”
If you’re looking for actual recipes, you’ll find them over at More Than Meatballs. Here, I’m more interested in what happens when real life gets between the cook and the cookbook.
Pull up a chair, put the kettle on, and make yourself at home.
Just don’t expect everything to go according to plan.
